The Bank of Ghana (BoG) has issued a stern reminder to participants in the remittance sector to adhere strictly to established regulations or face significant penalties.

In an official communication, the central bank emphasized the importance of complying with all the stipulated guidelines as mandated by the law. It sternly cautioned that any failure to comply would result in substantial sanctions, which could even involve the revocation of the license of any institution found in violation.
