This partnership seeks to harness the collective ideas, experiences, and insights of both organizations to address key issues and drive progress in the country.

Abdullahi made these remarks during a meeting with participants of the 2024 Senior Executive Course 46 of NIPSS, who visited NITDA’s headquarters in Abuja to gain insights into the agency’s efforts to advance the digital economy.

Abdulrahman Idris, Brigadier General and leader of the NIPSS delegation, stressed the importance of collaboration between government institutions to exchange knowledge and ideas for national development.

He highlighted NIPSS’s role as a policy think-tank tasked with developing technocrats to drive innovative policy initiatives crucial for Nigeria’s progress.

The partnership between NITDA and NIPSS aims to leverage technology and digital innovation to stimulate economic growth, create employment opportunities, and attract foreign investment.

Abdullahi reiterated NITDA’s commitment to enhancing service delivery and fostering the rapid growth of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector in Nigeria.

Providing insights into NITDA’s strategic direction, Abdullahi outlined the agency’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2024-2027) 2.0, which focuses on key pillars such as digital literacy, technology research, policy implementation, cybersecurity, innovation, strategic partnerships, and organizational culture.
