Head of digital, M-Pesa, Parminder Mann, announced late last week that M-Pesa’a app latest update in Tanzania includes its (M-Pesa) first mini-apps of M-Pawa and Mastercard. These mini-apps will enable customers to manage loans, savings and top up their virtual cards.

According to Mann, this is an exciting development in enabling services while keeping the app size small and responsive for customers. The upgrades include an update on the look and feel of the App as well as greatly enhanced the user experience.

Users can now enjoy the exciting new mini apps and services that brings a wholesome experience to the App. And also Send money easily to Safaricom customers in Kenya, MTN customers in Uganda and EcoCash customers in Burundi.

Include withdrawal fees in transfers for more convenience for recipients when withdrawing, Transact from anywhere in the world with ease, by simply selecting contact on any network from your phone book, favourites or recent recipients, Check account balance with a single tap and control recent transactions, by viewing and downloading recent transactions in the mini statements
