Paymes, the largest social commerce network in Turkey, has been purchased by PayTabs, a Middle Eastern, African, and South Asian payment service company.

Just a few weeks prior, PayTabs purchased Digital Pay in Saudi Arabia. According to the terms of the agreement, Paymes will act as PayTabs’ social commerce platform, enabling millions of independent contractors, proprietors of home businesses, and small company owners throughout the Middle East and Africa to get paid right away.

The founders of PayTabs decided that acquiring Paymes was the next logical step in line with PayTabs mission to power the global e-commerce economy with the ultimate super payment’s platform after working together for more than a year to launch social commerce tools in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and Egypt.

PayTabs’ market presence will be used by Paymes, which currently has a user base of over 850,000 people in Turkey and Azerbaijan, to promote digital and social payments throughout the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) area.

The purchase is in keeping with PayTabs’ goal of providing a robust payment infrastructure to drive the world’s e-commerce industry. Additionally, it will provide PayTabs a chance to increase its market share in Eurasia. Paymes is now able to position itself as a leading supplier of social commerce processing services in the Turkish area thanks to the purchase of PayTabs.

In 2023, Paymes will debut in three more markets: Uzbekistan, Jordan, and Georgia.
