HSBC Private Bank has launched Wealth Intelligence, an artificial intelligence-powered platform developed in-house to equip client-facing staff with faster insights and tailored investment support.
The platform is designed to analyse and summarise research reports and external news, drawing from more than 10,000 data sources. Over time, it will also integrate information from HSBC’s open product platform, allowing wealth managers to access a broader pool of third-party products.
According to Lavanya Chari, Head of Wealth and Premier Solutions at HSBC, AI adoption is a core strategic priority for enhancing client experience:
“By harnessing AI’s analytical power and speed, we are upskilling our wealth management teams, transforming workflows, and enabling clients to make better data-driven decisions to achieve their goals.”
In its next phase, Wealth Intelligence will be able to screen and recommend suitable investment products and asset allocations, further strengthening client advisory services.
The tool is currently being rolled out in Hong Kong and Singapore, with plans to expand to additional global markets in the coming months.
