North Africa Com 2022 will take place virtually on 19 – 20 July 2022, under the theme ‘Uniting North Africa’s Digital Ecosystems to drive Inclusive, Sustainable growth’.

The event will explore how strengthening digital infrastructure and deploying disruptive 4IR technologies at scale across the region will drive affordable, accessible internet connectivity.

This 2-day virtual event will also explore how disruptive technology, burgeoning investment, and the COVID-19 pandemic are driving a renewed urgency for accelerated innovation and digital transformation.

North Africa’s economy and ICT sector showed resilience despite a tumultuous few years following conflict, instability and the effects of COVID-19.

It has maintained its position as a leader in fixed broadband connectivity and a hub for digital innovation, with many of its countries committed to set up thriving digital economies by 2030. Technological investment will continue to be at the heart of its economic recovery and rebuilding efforts.

This year more than ever, North Africa Com is placing a special focus on impact – diving into what the digital transformation really means for businesses and communities – with the opportunity to connect those at the fore of the shifting tech landscape – from tech disruptors and investors to TMT leaders, policymakers and regulators.

IT leaders will connect the dots between digital infrastructure investment, enterprise transformation, emerging tech, ICT policy and regulation, start-up investment, digital skills development and tech for good.
