Flutterwave, a leading payments technology company in Africa, has announced the appointment of Dipo Fatokun as the new Chairman of Flutterwave Technologies Solutions Limited. Additionally, Tosin Faniro-Dada, a distinguished ecosystem builder and investor, joins the board as an Independent Non-Executive Director. These appointments underscore Flutterwave’s commitment to maintaining the highest regulatory, compliance, and governance standards while driving innovation and growth in the fintech ecosystem.

Dipo Fatokun brings over 30 years of extensive experience in banking services, finance, strategy, and leadership, acquired from both the public and private sectors. As a former Director at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), he played pivotal roles in landmark initiatives such as the Cashless Nigeria Initiative, Bank Verification Number project, and Treasury Single Account (TSA). His regulatory understanding and supervisory experience will bolster Flutterwave’s adherence to best practices and regulatory standards.

Tosin Faniro-Dada, with more than 17 years of experience in finance, corporate banking, and investment management, adds valuable expertise to the board. As a Partner at Breega, a prominent early-stage VC fund, she has supported tech founders across Africa, empowering them to tackle significant economic and social challenges. Her wealth of knowledge and passion for fostering innovation will further strengthen Flutterwave’s role as a catalyst for growth in the tech startup ecosystem.
