She Loves Tech inviting applications from African female-driven tech startups

She Loves Tech runs the world’s largest startup competition fixated on women and technology. The international non-profit organization works to close the funding gap between women entrepreneurs and funding. By 2030, the program aspires to unlock over US$1 billion in capital to the demography.

African female founders are highly encouraged to take this opportunity to showcase their innovations to a global audience and capitalize on the support they can receive from the industry’s finest according to their respective operation sectors. Applicants should be looking for either angel, seed, or Serie A funding (less than $5M). They must have a minimum viable product that is already past the conceptual stage.

On its website, the fund shows a track record of impact in 5,000 startups across 40 countries, with over $250 million raised by its startups in funding. It works on a tier-liver where the local and regional winners move to the next phase. A weeks-long bootcamp will take place for the local winners in October, before the competition’s final She Loves Tech Global Conference where startups can win $50,000 investment and cash prizes.

She Loves Tech works with the best industry leaders who provide strategic resources required to the top entrepreneurs.
