In June 2024, United Bank for Africa (UBA), a prominent pan-African financial services group, emerged as Nigeria’s most visited banking website, recording 2.36 million visits. This achievement highlights UBA’s robust digital presence and the effectiveness of its online platforms in attracting substantial traffic.

UBA’s user-friendly website and extensive online services have clearly resonated with users, positioning it as the top choice for customers seeking digital banking solutions. This prominence underscores the increasing significance of digital channels in the banking sector, as customers continue to favor online interactions for their financial needs.

Following UBA, Nigeria’s fintech company Paystack secured the second spot with 2.23 million visits, while Guaranty Trust Bank (GTB) ranked third with 1.25 million visits. Other notable mentions include Zenith Bank and Access Bank, with visits of 1.17 million and 1.15 million, respectively. The rising trend in digital channel usage among banks reflects a broader shift towards online banking as clients become more accustomed to digital technologies.
