This was announced in a statement from the President and Chairman of Council, Mr. Oluseyi Owoturo, released in Lagos.
Dr. Agama will deliver the keynote address on the theme: “Enhancing Financial Stability in the Nigerian Economy: Strategic Role of the Capital Market in Wealth Creation.” The conference will delve into how the capital market can bolster economic stability and contribute to wealth-building initiatives within Nigeria.

Mr. Owoturo stated that the ICMR conference will focus on assessing Nigeria’s economic landscape, identifying challenges to financial stability, and proposing actionable policy recommendations. The event will underscore the capital market’s critical role in providing funding for both business growth and government initiatives—essential drivers of innovation, job creation, and economic development.
The conference will conclude with the investiture of fellows and an induction ceremony for new members, recognizing their contributions to the capital market industry.
