NCC to Convene Inaugural Digital Economy Awareness Forum

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) is set to host the first-ever Digital Awareness and Sensitisation Forum, a landmark initiative designed to strengthen policy frameworks, drive innovation, and accelerate Nigeria’s transition to a fully digital economy.

The forum aims to create an enabling environment for digital infrastructure growth, foster innovation and inclusion, and establish stronger alignment between policy and implementation in advancing national development goals.

Scheduled to hold today, November 13, 2025, the maiden edition is themed “Leaving No One Behind: Digital Assets, Equity, and Empowerment.” It will convene industry leaders, policymakers, development partners, and community stakeholders to explore actionable strategies for bridging the digital divide and ensuring that all segments of society benefit from Nigeria’s evolving digital landscape.
