By MTN Nigeria has achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Nigerian organization, the first company in the telecommunications sector, and the first within the MTN Group to receive the Compliance Management System (CMS) certification from the International Accreditation Service (IAS).
This globally acknowledged certification highlights MTN Nigeria’s dedication to upholding world-class compliance standards across its extensive operations. The certification encompasses all management activities in telecommunications, digital services, mobile voice and data, innovative digital platforms, wholesale distribution, fixed and mobile broadband connectivity, and advanced technology solutions tailored for corporate and institutional clients nationwide.
Obiageli Ugboma, MTN Nigeria’s Chief Risk & Compliance Officer, commented on the achievement:
