As per a statement released by the CBN on Wednesday, the service charter is not only in compliance with the Business Facilitation Act 2022 but also aligns with the directives of SERVICOM Nigeria from the Presidency, focusing on the improvement of customer service delivery.

The statement highlighted that the service charter serves as a commitment by the Bank to collaborate effectively with its external customers, outlining the expectations from both parties. It emphasizes the Bank’s dedication to delivering quality services that are efficient, accountable, and transparent, fostering a more responsive and citizen-friendly governance.

Key Features of the Revised Service Charter:

The document distinctly outlines the CBN’s mandates, vision, mission, and core values.

It includes a comprehensive list of services provided by the Bank through its various departments.

The charter establishes service standards for each offered service, ensuring clarity and accountability.

The service charter incorporates a standardized Customer Complaints Form, enabling the reporting of service failures. Additionally, it outlines a mechanism for addressing service failures in any of the Bank’s services.

This move reflects the CBN’s commitment to fostering an environment conducive to business and economic activities in Nigeria, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient service delivery.
