MTN Group Fintech, a leading provider of mobile financial services in Africa, has partnered with Network International, a key player in digital payment processing across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Under this agreement, Network International will serve as a Payment Processor – Issuing Partner for MTN Fintech, facilitating secure and efficient digital transactions across multiple African markets.
Accelerating Card Issuance and Financial Inclusion
As part of the collaboration, MTN Fintech will roll out card issuance services in strategic markets, starting with Rwanda, which is already operational. Expansion into Uganda, Ivory Coast, and Nigeria is set to follow, enabling millions of mobile money users to access seamless digital payment solutions.
Network International will provide transaction processing, card management, and fraud prevention solutions, reinforcing the regulatory compliance framework necessary to support the growing adoption of digital payments in Africa.
