Mauritius is fine-tuning a digital promotion bill

The Mauritian Parliament discussed, Tuesday, April 25, the “Mauritius Digital Promotion Bill”, a bill on the promotion of digital in Mauritius.

Presented by the Minister of Information Technology, Communication and Innovation, Deepak Balgobin, the said bill aims to replace the National Computer Board Act and provides for the creation of an agency for the promotion of ICT which will contribute to the accessibility of technology and the development of digital skills in the country.
