The Fintech Association of Kenya (FINTAK) has announced the addition of Frank Molla, the Managing Director of MDP Africa, to its advisory board for a two-year term.

With over two decades of experience in the payments industry spanning Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, Molla brings a wealth of expertise to the association, aimed at bolstering its success through thought leadership and sustainability initiatives.

Having held prominent positions at Barclays Bank (now Absa), MasterCard, and American Express, Molla has been instrumental in facilitating operations and expansion strategies across Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

In his advisory capacity, Molla will focus on enhancing market expansion, driving technological innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering community engagement and financial literacy. His profound knowledge will serve as a guiding force for Kenyan fintech startups navigating global market expansion, forging international partnerships, and advocating for favorable regulatory frameworks.

Expressing his appreciation for the appointment, Molla stated:

Chairperson of the Fintech Association of Kenya, Duncun Motanya, also welcomed Molla’s appointment, highlighting his expertise as a tremendous asset to the organization.
