PayMint, a leading Egyptian fintech company, has secured final approval from the Central Bank of Egypt to launch its first “Meeza” prepaid cards in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB).

These Meeza prepaid cards enable users to make purchases, withdraw cash, and shop online within Egypt. Cardholders can also track transactions, check balances, and manage their cards through the PayMint mobile app.

The launch aligns with the Central Bank of Egypt’s broader initiative to promote financial inclusion and transition towards a cashless society. By partnering with fintech firms, the Central Bank aims to provide innovative digital solutions tailored to meet diverse customer needs.

ADIB’s Commitment to Innovation

Mohamed Aly, CEO and Managing Director of ADIB Egypt, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating:
