ACE Money Transfer has entered into a strategic collaboration with global payments technology company Visa to strengthen its international payment infrastructure and improve the speed, security and efficiency of cross-border money transfers.

The partnership marks another step in ACE Money Transfer’s efforts to expand its digital payment capabilities while deepening its relationship with one of the world’s leading payment networks.

Under the collaboration, ACE Money Transfer will leverage Visa’s Account Funding Transactions (AFT) capability to streamline the process of funding cross-border transfers, enabling customers to send money more quickly and seamlessly.

The initiative is expected to enhance the overall remittance experience by improving transaction efficiency, strengthening payment security and ensuring greater reliability for users across global payment corridors.

By combining ACE Money Transfer’s expertise in international remittances with Visa’s global payment infrastructure, both organisations aim to deliver secure, convenient and frictionless digital payment experiences for individuals sending money to family, friends and businesses around the world.

Head of Payments and Banking Infrastructure at ACE Money Transfer, Rehan Ashraf, said the collaboration reinforces the company’s commitment to investing in resilient payment infrastructure that delivers faster and more reliable services to customers.

“Visa’s Account Funding Transactions capability strengthens the infrastructure underpinning every card-funded transfer on our platform. This is about building a payments stack that performs for our customers and the corridors we serve,” Ashraf said.

He added that the partnership would enhance the way customers fund their transfers while supporting the company’s long-term strategy of delivering secure, efficient and dependable payment services.

“Our collaboration with Visa represents an important step in strengthening our payment capabilities. By working closely with Visa to support Account Funding Transactions, we are enhancing the way customers fund their transfers while continuing to invest in secure, reliable and efficient payment experiences,” he added.

Vice President and Head of Visa Direct Europe, Olga Ovchinnikova, said the collaboration reflects the growing importance of industry partnerships in supporting the increasing demand for digital cross-border payments.

According to her, expanding the use of Visa Direct capabilities with ACE Money Transfer will help simplify international money movement while providing customers with secure and reliable payment options.

“As demand for digital cross-border payments grows, collaboration across the payments ecosystem is more important than ever. By expanding our work with ACE Money Transfer across Visa Direct capabilities, we’re helping enable secure, seamless and reliable money movement for customers around the world,” she said.

Ovchinnikova noted that the partnership will make it easier for ACE Money Transfer customers to fund and complete international transfers efficiently, supporting individuals and families who rely on fast, convenient remittance services.

Both organisations said the collaboration also reflects their shared commitment to advancing digital payment adoption and supporting the continued evolution of international money transfers through trusted technology, strategic partnerships and innovation.
