Mojo Payments Limited, a licensed Enhanced Payment Service Provider under the Bank of Ghana (BoG), has launched its Innovation Hub, a strategic initiative aimed at fostering the growth of fintech startups by providing critical resources, mentorship, and regulatory support.

The hub’s initial phase will focus on fintech startups within the MEST Africa Portfolio, offering a range of benefits such as regulatory guidance, discounted payment processing, business development assistance, and investment readiness programs. Looking ahead, Mojo Payments plans to collaborate with key ecosystem partners to expand these services to a wider network of fintech entrepreneurs.

The official launch, held on March 15, 2025, at Mojo Payments’ headquarters in Ridge, Accra, brought together major industry stakeholders, representatives from the Bank of Ghana, and MEST Africa, marking a significant step in strengthening Ghana’s fintech ecosystem.

Driving Innovation and Compliance in Fintech

Speaking at the event, Mojo Payments CEO, Saqib Nazir, reaffirmed the company’s commitment to empowering fintech startups:

“We are thrilled to partner with MEST Africa in supporting fintech startups with the regulatory, operational, and business development expertise they need to scale effectively. This initiative reflects our dedication to fostering innovation and compliance within Africa’s fintech landscape.”
