Orange Egypt has announced the launch of its integrated digital platform that supports and guides promising, innovative and creative ideas with the aim of encouraging young talents in Egypt to go through the experience of establishing startups and gaining the knowledge needed to turn their ideas into real projects.

This launch came in partnership with Victory Link along with the special collaboration with the prominent Entrepreneur Mohamed Nagati; where the platform provides valuable content and tips based on practical experiences on how to establish successful startups, as well as providing tips by Mohamed Nagati to help them gain the intellectual and personal skills that any successful investor may need to acquire.

Moreover, the platform offers an exceptional opportunity for its visitors to obtain funding of EGP 250,000 as well as helping them convert their ideas into real projects. This is to be done by submitting their presentations to the platform, where a jury led by Mohamed Nagati will screen and sort out the good ideas and choose one of them to obtain the funding.

Ahmed El-Abd Chief Commercial Officer at Orange Egypt said “We are pleased to launch the new platform, which is a strong addition to the initiatives launched by Orange out of its keenness to support Egyptian talents in the field of trade, investment and technology, and support them to transform into entrepreneurs while transforming their ideas to best benefit the society and the Egyptian economy as a whole.”

“Over the past years, Orange Egypt has launched several initiatives that specifically aimed at supporting Egypt’s ecosystem, and has presented a series of training events and competitions on local and regional levels; where some of them included venture funding and prizes and the latest one was the Fintech Startup Seed Challenge 2022 where a promising startup has won a seed fund of $200,000.” He added.

For his part, Mr. Nasser Mahrous, Chairman of Victory Link, commented, “Victory Link gives great attention in supporting the Egyptian community in various fields, especially in fintech. Mr. Mohamed Nagati commented on this event said, “The idea of partnering with a giant telecom operator as Orange along with the contribution of Victory Link as a key driver in launching an integrated digital platform that supports youth was a dream, through which we will be able to reach the largest possible number of young aspiring entrepreneurs and Small and medium-sized enterprises who want to start their projects. I also dream of reaching all African countries, and we are working with Orange and Victory Link to reach out to all the young entrepreneurs in our continent to help build their dreams to achieve their goals through the advice and instructions that will be provided through this service which will be of great value in their journey and will also help in improving the economy in the long run.”
