Visa has announced the launch of the fourth edition of its Africa Fintech Accelerator, a three-month initiative aimed at empowering startups through mentorship, technological resources, and funding opportunities. Applications for this year’s program are open until March 15, 2025.
Since its debut in 2023, the accelerator has become a key component of Visa’s $1 billion investment pledge to advance financial inclusion across Africa by 2027. To date, the program has supported 64 startups, with 15 forming active collaborations with Visa. Notably, four participants from the 2023 cohort recently secured strategic funding directly from Visa.
