Global reinsurance giant Swiss Re has named Pranav Pasricha, current Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Intellect SEEC, as Global Head P&C Solutions of the company’s global Reinsurance arm, effective August 3rd, 2020.
He takes over from Eric Schuh, who is leaving the reinsurer to take on an exciting new challenge outside of the Group and will be leaving Swiss Re towards the end of 2020.
In his new role, Pasricha will report to Jason Richards, Head Casualty Underwriting Reinsurance, and also become a member of the Casualty Leadership team. He will be based in Armonk, U.S.
Pasricha has served as the CEO of insurtech Intellect SEEC for the past six years. Prior to this, he held responsibility for strategy, technology and operations for QBE Insurance across Australia Asia Pacific, leading the expansion of its eBusiness capabilities and digital transformation of underwriting and claims.
Prior to QBE, he worked in strategy and operations consulting with Booz Allen and A.T. Kearney across high tech, financial services and telecoms.
Richards commented: “In Pranav Pasricha we found a very strong successor to lead our P&C Solutions team. His experience of working in the insurtech environment over the past seven years will be a big asset as we continue to develop new innovative solutions that meet our clients’ needs.
