Wiseeasy and UnionPay launch digital products in Nigeria and Ghana

Digital banking and payments firm Wiseasy Group partners UnionPay International (UPI) to accelerate digital banking and QR payments in Ghana and Nigeria.

Wiseasy group and UnionPay have entered into a partnership to launch a digital and banking product in Nigeria and Ghana. In Nigeria, the duo will join the list of 45 firms that are already in this space. – Fintech Tracker,

According to CrowdFund Insider, “The two companies worked together to develop a unified mobile payment standard and coordinate the management of financial institutions’ mobile payment businesses. This process has received a significant boost from the proliferation of smartphones and QR codes, which allow customers to conduct transactions in new environments easily.”
