National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) has announced the introduction of Smart Payment Solution, allowing customers to make payments by scanning their cards in supermarkets.

Customers using NBK credit cards can now scan the cards on the assigned reader on the supermarket trolleys, thus eliminating the need for waiting in checkout lines to pay for their purchases.

NBK aims to roll out its digital payment solutions to all co-ops and supermarkets, to ensure that all of the bank’s customers enjoy the same experience. The bank aims to provide an integrated shopping experience, and offer rewards to its customers.
