The National Universities Commission (NUC) has unveiled a comprehensive update to the curriculum of Nigerian universities, ushering in an array of cutting-edge tech courses. Dr. Chris Maiyaki, the acting Executive Secretary of the commission, confirmed this development during a recent stakeholder meeting, with the new curriculum set to take effect from September 2023.

Maiyaki elaborated that the revamped curriculum, known as the Core Curriculum Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS), will constitute 70% of the curriculum, while universities will have the flexibility to determine the remaining 30%.
