This collaboration is designed to advance various AI initiatives, bolster AI adoption and education, and reinforce the UAE’s digital infrastructure through international cooperation.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Saqr Binghalib, Executive Director of the UAE’s Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Office, and Syed Tahir Nazir, Managing Director of Rittal FZE, at the AI Retreat 2024 held in Dubai. Organized by the Dubai Centre for AI Applications in collaboration with the National Programme for Artificial Intelligence, the event aimed to accelerate the adoption of AI applications and drew over 2,000 decision-makers, experts, and officials from both government and private sectors.

Saqr Binghalib emphasized the UAE Government’s focus on building skills and talent as a cornerstone of its digital development journey, aiming to create a future grounded in intellect and creativity. “Strengthening partnerships between the government and the private sector enhances the country’s position as a global hub for AI, reinforces its active global role, and supports national strategies aimed at building future competencies equipped with the necessary tools for development,” he stated.

Syed Tahir Nazir highlighted Rittal FZE’s commitment to supporting the vision of the UAE’s Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications. “We are fully committed to supporting capacity building, knowledge enhancement, and technological advancements through innovations in AI and other smart applications, especially in the fields of Robotics, Industry 4.0 systems, and Green Technologies,” Nazir said.

Rittal FZE aims to contribute to environmental protection and reducing carbon footprints with innovative products and solutions. The company looks forward to a fruitful collaboration with the UAE’s AI department to secure a better future for communities and future generations. “We are excited to partner with the AI department and are looking forward to working closely with Saqr Binghalib for a mutually successful collaboration,” Nazir added.
