The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has issued a public alert warning Nigerians against the use or distribution of certain multivitamin and iron supplements recently recalled in the United States due to serious safety concerns.<\/p>\n
In a notice shared via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, NAFDAC identified the affected products under the CINCINNATI (WKRC)<\/strong> label, which were distributed widely across the U.S., including through major retailers such as Walmart<\/strong> and Amazon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The recall, affecting 60,000 units<\/strong>, was initiated after investigations by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission<\/strong>revealed that the supplements were improperly packaged, lacking child-resistant safety caps<\/strong>.
