Edan Instruments, Inc.<\/strong>, a global leader in medical technology innovation, underscored its commitment to inclusive healthcare solutions<\/strong> at the Geneva Health Forum (GHF) 2025 Satellite Symposium<\/strong>, held as an official side event to the World Health Assembly (WHA)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Themed “China’s Medical Technology Innovation and Its Implementation for Global Health”<\/em>, the symposium took place on May 20, 2025<\/strong>, in Geneva and was co-organized by Tsinghua University<\/strong> and the Universit\u00e9 de Gen\u00e8ve<\/strong>. The event brought together stakeholders from across the health ecosystem \u2014 innovators, policymakers, and development agencies \u2014 to examine how China\u2019s medical technology sector is contributing to equitable healthcare access<\/strong>, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Speaking on behalf of EDAN, Co-Founder Mr. Xicheng Xie<\/strong> delivered a keynote address highlighting the company’s three-decade journey<\/strong> of translating advanced medical innovation into practical, accessible solutions<\/strong> for frontline healthcare delivery.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrue innovation isn\u2019t measured by technological sophistication alone \u2014 it\u2019s about delivering the right tools to the people who need them most<\/strong>,\u201d Mr. Xie emphasized, reflecting EDAN\u2019s long-standing philosophy of value-driven design and community-centered deployment.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

As part of its showcase, EDAN presented a number of impact-focused initiatives<\/strong>, including the deployment of its Nano Series handheld ultrasound system<\/strong> in resource-constrained regions. This initiative aims to empower primary healthcare workers<\/strong> with tools for early prenatal screening<\/strong>, enabling timely referrals for at-risk pregnancies and reducing maternal and neonatal mortality.<\/p>\n

Mr. Xie also introduced other key technologies tailored for infrastructure-limited settings<\/strong>, such as:<\/p>\n
