While collaborating with national institutions to advance this agenda in Nigeria, AXA Mansard is also investing in grassroots development initiatives, which combine preventive health education, medical screenings, and the distribution of mosquito nets to combat malaria.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor us at AXA Mansard Health, universal health coverage is a critical priority. We believe healthcare should be accessible, affordable, and available to everyone, regardless of their socio-economic, geographic, or educational status,\u201d said Adeniyi. \u201cThis medical outreach is just one of the many programs we\u2019ve planned this year to enhance community health.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the year, AXA Mansard donated medical equipment to hospitals in underserved areas across Nigeria\u2019s six geopolitical zones. Adeniyi reaffirmed the company\u2019s dedication to ensuring wellness is widespread across the country. \u201cWe are on a mission to make wellness ubiquitous in Nigeria, one community at a time,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Adeniyi also highlighted the integral role of AXA Mansard&#8217;s employees in driving the initiative: \u201cWhat makes this outreach unique is the active involvement of our employee volunteers. They weren\u2019t just the architects of this program; they also committed their time and effort to its success by directly engaging with the community. This shows that this isn\u2019t just a corporate social responsibility (CSR) program\u2014it\u2019s a reflection of our company\u2019s deep commitment, shared by all our employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Adebola Surakat, Chief Marketing Officer at AXA Mansard, explained that the outreach is part of the company\u2019s <strong>AXA Hearts in Action<\/strong> program, a global employee volunteering initiative. \u201cAXA Hearts in Action is at the heart of our mission to promote human progress. It encourages our employees to not only create solutions for societal advancement but also to give back their time to causes that build healthier communities,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the initiative, Alhaji Otunbade Nurudeen, Chairman of the Abule Oja Community Development Association, expressed his gratitude to AXA Mansard for choosing the community. \u201cWe are thrilled to have AXA Mansard conduct this outreach here.
