Rwanda’s Ministry of Health is conducting trials on how insulin-based medicines, syringes, lancets, blood glucose meters and strips will be delivered to diabetic patients living in remote areas using drones. These trials, which began with 27 patients in Kayonza and Kirehe districts, are being conducted in partnership with Zipline and Partners in Health.
